Brad & Janelle Stoops

Posted on Thu Apr 13, 2006 by admin.

Brad & Janelle Stoops met while serving in Central Asia. Brad is an MPC member originally sent out with the Kazakhstan Connection in 1996. They have three daughters, Ellie, Chloe, and Grace (born in Central Asia in summer 2005). Brad and Janelle currently work with a Non-Government Organization (NGO) involved in humanitarian relief and development in a sensitive area of Central Asia. They hope these tangible expressions of God’s love, mercy and grace will lead to evangelism and discipleship opportunities. They desire to see God’s kingdom established among Muslim people of Central Asia by planting churches and training nationals to lead and equip others. Brad meets regularly with a committed believer to encourage and equip him, and Janelle meets with a woman believer to do the same. Together with their team and these local believers, they look forward to a fellowship of believers gathering together soon as a church. Their NGO is under scrutiny and visa renewals are no longer a certainty. Pray for God to make a way for them to remain in the country. Also pray for them as they begin to mentor and equip local believers, and for the many seeds they’ve sown to begin bearing fruit. Pray that a church would be planted in their community this year.
