All-Church Summer Retreat, August 21-23
Mark your calendars and make plans now to attend the McLean Presbyterian All-Church Summer Retreat! The retreat will be August 21-23 at the beautiful Shrine Mont Retreat Center in the Shenandoah Valley. Our speaker this year will be Mike Honeycutt, PCA pastor and professor at Covenant Seminary. All are welcome to come for an encouraging weekend getaway where we will worship, learn and fellowship together. The retreat is a wonderful opportunity to get to know others and to deepen your relationships at McLean Presbyterian Church. Registration brochures are available in the Tower Entrance. Considering Adoption?
If you’ve ever considered adoption as a way of expanding your family or reaching out to those in need, Bethany Christian Services, a leader in domestic and international adoption, is looking for loving Christian homes for children. A Domestic Information Meeting will be held on July 16 from 6:30-8:30pm. The International Information Meeting will be held on August 17 from 6-8pm. Performing Arts Camp Help STILL Needed
We will be hosting a performing arts camp again this summer during the week of August 3rd to August 7th and we are still in need of someone from within the congregation to fulfill the following service:
1. We need a host family that would be willing to open their home to the three wonderful women that are overseeing the program for the duration of the week. Each woman will need a separate bed, and a home without animals is preferred.

Where Do You Work? Want Some Company?
This is the time of year where the Fellows Program is preparing for next year’s incoming Fellows class, which starts in September. One of the mainstays of being a Fellow is a three-day-per-week paid (though not much!) internship in a workplace that relates to the Fellow’s vocational interest. We have Fellows coming in this year interested in non-profits, government, and business, and we’re currently on the hunt for the best internships possible for these folks. Does your workplace take paid interns, or would you be willing to explore if it would?
