The C.S. Lewis Institute, a Christian discipleship ministry, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant in our office in Springfield, VA, three days a week. The position pays $15-$20/hr, entails overall office administration, and requires: good writing and proofreading skills, experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook),effective multi-tasking, staying on top of a variety of details that require regular attention, and meeting deadlines.

Grace Presbyterian Church (Grace DC Downtown) in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Sunday Operations and Office Administrator. The Sunday Operations and Office Administrator serves as facilitator of Sunday service logistics and member services, in addition to providing administrative support to the Grace DC office. Start date is mid-late September 2010.

Job Requirements Include
Communication: personable demeanor and communication style; able to articulate Grace DC Downtown ministry vision in a clear and compelling fashion
Administrative skills: organized and detail-oriented; able to function with minimal day-to-day supervision and balance multiple responsibilities
Event Coordination/Problem Solving skills: experience coordinating events; able to delegate and break events into achievable jobs for individuals; able to direct others and relay policy and/or directions or resolve conflict in a clear and gracious manner
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel, able to be trained in Shelby (church database)
High standards of professionalism and integrity

Grace DC Downtown seeks Communications Administrator

Grace Presbyterian Church (Grace DC Downtown) in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Communications Administrator. The Communications Administrator serves as the communications “hub” of Grace DC Downtown, in addition to providing some support to Grace DC Meridian Hill and administrative support to the Grace DC office. Start date is mid-late August 2010.

Job Requirements Include:

Design skills: basic graphic design skills; basic html skills or CMS experience; ability to think through web development issues
