I am serious about my walk with God.
This room overlooks the neighborhood from the third floor of a four-bedroom house. Includes ample closet space and shared bathroom with one other roommate. Residents also share a living room, kitchen and laundry room. The house includes a small back patio, too. Rent shall be in the $650 with utilities running between $60-$100 depending on the time of year – includes water, cable, internet, electricity, heat and garbage disposal. The room becomes available July 1st and has a one year lease. We would like a security deposit as well.
The house is located in an ideal location for public transportation. It is a 7 minute walk to the Ballston metro station/Ballston Mall and the bus hub there will take you to most area attractions. Bus to Georgetown/Farragut West picks up from the corner. Parking is also available in a private lot and on the street.
About us: three professional CFs in our mid-twenties who enjoy living in Arlington. We have a very friendly landlord who makes prompt repairs and even sends us Christmas gifts. No pets, though.
Three males are looking for a fellow male believer who wants to join us in an apartment near dc. We are currently planning to move into a 2 bedroom apartment or town house very close to a metro stop somewhere between West Falls Church and Rosslyn (Orange Line). We are hoping to spend no more than $2800/month ($700/person).
We are still looking at apartments, but will be making a decision very soon. We would like to find a fourth person before settling on a place, but will have to make a final decision on a specific place within two weeks.
About us: All three of us are newly-graduated UVa students. Two of us will be working full-time in the northern Virginia/dc area, and one will be at george mason for graduate school. I am looking for a Christian male roommate to share my 2 bed/2 full bath condo with in Bethesda for at least 11 months. I may have to move in May or June of 2011, although I’m not sure yet, so we’ll say for now I’m looking for someone who can commit through 5/11. (I’m sure if you’d like to stay the landlords would love to have you.) I am a conservative Christian and am a doctor in the Army, starting my residency this month. That is code for “I’ll be away from home a lot.” :-p
The rent would be $625 per month + 1/2 utilities. I think that’s pretty reasonable since the total rent for the condo is actually $1550 + ut’s. I was just going to get Netflix in lieu of cable since I’ll be working a lot (I think we can hook up to the building antenna for broadcast channels), but if you would like cable I would be willing to split that with you as well.
The available bedroom is officially 10X13′ although it’s more like 10×11.5′ because of the closet; it’s directly across the hall from the main bathroom, which would pretty much be all yours. The bathroom has a new sink and vanity which look much better than the ones that were there previously. There is a living room, which opens into a dining room, and a pretty good-size kitchen. I can send you a few photos if you like.
The building is Chelsea Tower at 7401 Westlake Terrace, Bethesda, near the Montgomery Mall. No pets, please. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood and is quite close to 270 and 495. The condo also has amenities like a pool, tennis courts, exercise room, and is very close to Cabin John Park.

About me, I’m pretty quiet. I’m really into old stuff… old movies and music and such. I play the piano and hope to get one in the condo within the next few months. I am from a Reformed background and also enjoy theological discussions, of course. :-) Oh yes, I went to Grove City College, a great Christian liberal arts college in PA, for undergrad.
