The Board of Women at MPC would like to encourage you to help us fill the ’spiritual airwaves’ with praises and prayers from April 27-May 3, the days sourrounding the National Day of Prayer. You are urged to pray during your own quiet times, in your small groups and in joining others on the specific day designated as the National Day of Prayer on May 1. On that day the MPC sanctuary will be open and available for you to ‘drop in’ for prayer from 8am-8:30pm. Prayer guides for the National Day of Prayer are available at the Information Center. The Lutsko family has graciously offered to bring two Moonbounces for the day, so children can rambunctiously jump for hours on end! And at 2pm the very funny and very talented ventriloquist Dennis Lee will put on a show for all of MPC to enjoy!! Please bring a picnic basket for you and your family (drinks will be provided) and be prepared to have a blast! Its mission is to glorify God through music and to support other ministries and charitable organizations through its performances. The Dominion Brass has raised over $20,000 for a variety of local, national, and international ministries, and the musicians donate their time and talents to the group without compensation. Dominion Brass considers MPC its home church as the founder, Mark Thiele, and several musicians are MPC members.
