It is easy to feel disconnected in the DC area as we battle Beltway traffic, hustle to and from our children’s activities, or rush to the next appointment. In the midst of it all, it is often difficult to pause long enough to ask the most important questions of our lives – “Who am I becoming? What am I living for? How do I make a lasting impact in this world?”
The ministries on the following pages provide diverse opportunities for us to connect to others in the church and, in the process, to join the ongoing conversation about the most important questions. Those questions often vary slightly, depending on our life situation. Consequently, you will find that many of the ministries at MPC are organized by age group (for example, children, student, or adult) and marital status. In addition, some of the ministries listed here focus on those among us that require special care (physical or otherwise). We have also included useful information about unique interests, namely our music ministry and our mission initiatives.
