Mclean Presbyterian Church

Karas

KARAS is a group of single women of all ages who meet together to worship our great Triune God and to minister to each other through genuine Christian fellowship, Bible study and social activities including our annual fall retreat. Because it is our desire to reach out to others, KARAS is by no means restricted to members and regular attendees of McLean Presbyterian Church. Single women from other congregations and those without a church home are more than welcome. In addition to our regular activities, we support through prayer and email Lois Ooms in Africa, and Chris and Cassy Robinson, church planters in New England.

Bible Study Information

Please join us on Thursday evenings at 7pm for our Bible study, led by Della Fisher, at the home of Jeanne McChesney. One of the most meaningful and supportive aspects of KARAS takes place in members’ lives throughout the week. As lives connect, those in KARAS communicate prayer and ministry needs, meet for meals, and assist and encourage one another in numerous practical and fun ways. This outworking of the Biblical concept of community makes our group times even more significant and worthwhile.

FAQs
