These special events are activities that happen once a year and/or are of short duration. They are all planned and overseen by Kingdom Kids, our children’s ministry.

FOR 2010, SPACE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR RISING 1ST THROUGH 3RD GRADERS. PRESCHOOL IS FULL.
What an amazing week we had at Vacation Bible School (VBS) this past summer! Crocodile Doc was a huge success with over 225 children here for the week of July 6-10, 2009. Children heard Bible stories, learned Bible verses, and participated in many games and crafts. You should have been here and seen how this building was transformed into the look and feel of a swamp! Our kids learned how “fearless kids shine God’s light”.
This ministry year VBS will be held July 12-16,2010. Our theme will be High Seas Expedition; Exploring the Mighty Love of God. VBS is open to children 4 years old to rising 3rd graders and is held Monday-Friday 9:30am-12:30pm. Children participate in fun activities involving crafts, games, songs, and Bible lessons. Putting Belief Into Action to Serve the Community
This upcoming summer during the week of July 12-16, 2010, we will be running a camp for our community involving the rising 4, 5, & 6th graders, otherwise known as the D3 ministry. This camp will involve their serving the community with a couple different service projects. This concept first came alive four summers ago when the Awesome 654’s served as the VBS Service Brigade 2005, which ran concurrent with our VBS ministry.
The camp, which will run from 9:30am-3pm each day, will help teach the D3 kids how they can not only make a difference during this exciting week of camp, but also everyday of their lives as they obey Christ’s command to “Love Your Neighbor.”

Join us in August 2010 for a great week of MUSIC, DRAMA, DANCE, INSTRUMENTS, PUPPETS, SCENERY PAINTING…AND FUN!
Each year we host a performing arts camp for rising 3rd to rising 6th graders! This camp is put on by a company called KidShine, a non-denominational production company that partners with churches and organizations to offer performing arts programs for kids in their own communities. KidShine provides the staff and the supplies – the church provides the kids and the facility. This year Performing Arts Camp will run from August 16th-August 20th from 9am-3pm each day, working towards the Grand Finale which will be the performance of a Christian musical on Friday evening.
