Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement! We share in your excitement as you prepare to journey into married life. We pray that your relationship will be deeply founded on trust in Jesus Christ.

Weddings and wedding receptions at MPC are available to our members, adult children of our members, and (actively involved) members of sister PCA churches. Ceremonies can be conducted by any of our pastors, other ordained MPC staff, or if you choose, by another pastor from a Protestant evangelical church.

If you meet the criteria above and desire to be married at MPC, please:

  • Click here to download a copy of the Wedding Handbook for complete information on weddings at MPC.
  • Call our office to tentatively schedule one wedding date (up to one year in advance), which we will hold for two weeks. (As a courtesy to all, we will schedule one date only per couple.) Members of PCA churches may schedule one date only up to six months in advance.
  • Within two weeks, complete page one of the wedding application. Keep a copy for your records, and bring or mail both the application and your refundable (wedding) security deposit to the church office. (See the Wedding Handbook for more information).
  • Note that the wedding date is tentative until we receive your completed wedding application, the security deposit, and confirmation that premarital counseling is scheduled.
  • Note that if you are using an outside officiant, your application is incomplete without a letter of pre-marital counseling course and schedule.

Within one week of receipt of your completed wedding application and security deposit, Amy Prante, the MPC receptionist/administrative assistant, will contact you to confirm your wedding date.

If you wish to also hold your wedding reception at MPC, please:

  • Click here to download a copy of the Reception Handbook for complete information on receptions at MPC.
  • Complete page two of the wedding application (with the exception of the set-up sketch). Keep a copy for your records, and bring or mail both the wedding application and your refundable (wedding & reception) security deposits to the church office. (See the Reception Handbook for more information).

Within one week of receipt of your completed wedding application and security deposit, Amy Prante, the MPC receptionist/administrative assistant, will contact you to confirm your wedding and reception date.

Complete information on our policies for weddings and receptions at MPC can be found in the handbooks. Please read through them thoroughly. If you have need for further information, please contact our church office.
