I relocated to the area in January of 2012 and had to leave my family behind in the Huntsville, AL, area because we are unable to sell or rent our home. Ideally, I need a basement apartment with a separate entrance, a small 1 BDR condo or a detached cottage/garage apartment. My job requires deployment overseas about 40-50% of the time beginning about mid-summer. My office is in the Tysons Corner area, thus the Falls Church/Annandale/McLean locale would be ideal, but would consider The Dulles Toll Road Corridor (Reston/Herndon/Chantilly/Ashburn) or Vienna.

My brother is looking to move to Northern VA and is in need of an affordable place to stay for the summer. I will be graduating from Calvin College(MI)in May. I am planning on moving to Georgetown at the end of May to start an internship at Marq Energie. I am looking to rent/sublease for the summer months just until I know whether or not I will be staying in Washington or not. We are looking to bring our 3 teenage sons to DC for a few days over spring break. Preferably April 10-12, we really just need a place to sleep and eat breakfast as we will be out most of the day touring. We travel light and have air matresses.
