Chancel Choir
- A choir of men and women who lead in worship, singing music in a variety of styles for Sunday services and special concerts.
- Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly rehearsal Thursdays 7:30-9:15PM; 2 Sunday services (8:45am-11:30AM); September-June
- Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Middle school age or older; Prior choral singing experience nice but not necessary
Children’s Choir Assistant(s)
- This position assists with the weekly rehearsals of the children’s choir “Kids for the King”. Specific needs include accompanists (piano & other instrumentalists), rehearsal monitors, snack providers, drama coach, set construction, and set painting.
- Service Hours/Frequency – Rehearsals Sunday 4-5:15pm; Some at-home work to help coordinate the program
- Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Middle school age or older
Kingdom Kids Children’s Church Music Leader
- This position is responsible for leading children in worship through music.
- Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly, Sundays, 1 hour; Approx. 1 hour prep weekly; Attend quarterly planning meetings for approx. 2 hours
- Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Must complete application and form for background check; Loves teaching children about worship and guiding them in praising God through song
Men’s Ministry (Brothers in Christ) Music Team Coordinator(s)
- This position develops the music program in support of the praise & fellowship conducted by the Men’s Breakfast leadership team.
- Service Hours/Frequency – Approx. 1-2 hours/month for prep & rehearsal; 10-15 minutes leading music during monthly breakfast
- Service Prerequisites – MPC Member; Have musical ability and comfortable in leading a group musically; Possess instrumental &/or vocal skills; Have access to music repertoire; Consistently attend ministry events
Worship Team
- Singers and instrumentalists that help lead the music during Sunday worship services and other special events throughout the year. Positions also include pianists, organists, guitarists, string, wind & brass players.
- Service Hours/Frequency – 1x/month Sunday; Sing/play during both services; 8AM-12:15PM
- Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Semi-professionally gifted in singing and/or playing an instrument
