ESL Teacher(s)

• This position teaches foreign students of varying abilities to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Service Hours/Frequency – 1x/week on Wednesday from 9am-Noon plus planning time; 1x/week on Thursday from 7-9pm plus planning time
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; No experience necessary; No foreign language skills necessary; Training is available from many sources

ESL Teaching Assistant(s)

• This position assists the teacher with class instruction and breakout activities.
• Service Hours/Frequency – 1x/week on Wednesday from 9am-Noon; 1x/week on Thursday from 7-9pm
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; No experience necessary; No foreign language skills necessary; Training is available from many sources

ESL Substitute Teacher(s)

• This position teaches a class when the primary teacher is ill or unavailable.
• Service Hours/Frequency – As necessary on Wednesday from 9am-Noon; As necessary on Thursday from 7-9pm
• Service Prerequisites - MPC Member or Regular Attender; No experience necessary; No foreign language skills necessary; Training is available from many sources

Home Fellowship Group Leader(s)

• This position leads a small group of adults in Bible study.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Groups generally meet weekly or bi-weekly for 1.5 – 2.5 hours; Prep time to teach; Attend Regional Leader’s meetings
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member; Has experience in leading Bible study; Has an awareness of our doctrinal convictions & a willingness to teach them; Has a desire to pray for & encourage members of the group regularly

Kingdom Kids Children’s Church Assistant(s)

• This position assists the Children’s Church Leader in getting the children to the proper room. The Assistant also takes attendance and helps with the children as needed.
• Service Hours/Frequency – 1 x/quarter – Sundays; 1 hour; Attend quarterly planning meetings for approx. 2 hours
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Must complete application and form for background check; Loves teaching children about worship and guiding them in how to worship

Kingdom Kids Children’s Church Leader(s)

• This position plans & prepares the teaching for Children’s Church.
• Service Hours/Frequency – 4 Sundays mornings/quarter; 2 hours prep time; Attend quarterly planning meeting for approx. 2 hours
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member for minimum of six months; Must complete application and form for background check; Loves teaching children about worship and guiding them in how to worship

Kingdom Kids (Summer) Sunday School Music Leader

• This position leads children in music using the summer curriculum. The leader learns songs and develops appropriate hand motions, and then teaches these to the children.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly on Sundays, 1.5 hours; Prep time to learn music approx. 2 hours; Attend 1 planning meeting
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Be able to learn songs from curriculum; Be energetic; Loves leading children in praising God through song

Kingdom Kids Sunday School Assistant(s)

• This position assists the lead teacher in implementing his/her responsibilities to teach the children.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly on Sundays; 1.5 hours (or can share this role with another and rotate every other week); Attend teacher’s meeting quarterly, approx. 2 hours
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Must complete application and form for background check; Love working with children

Kingdom Kids Sunday School Teacher(s)

• This position instructs children in the Sunday school program by word & example, to know & grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly on Sundays; 1.5 hours teaching; Approx. 2 hours prep; Attend teacher’s meeting quarterly, approx. 2 hours
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member for minimum of six months; Must complete application and form for background check; Love teaching children about Christ

Kingdom Kids (Summer) Sunday School Group Leader(s)

• This position leads an activity area with children which reinforce the Bible lesson taught that day.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly on Sundays; 1.5 hours; Approx. 1 hour prep to learn the music; Attend 1 planning meeting, approx. 2 hours
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member for minimum of six months; Must complete application and form for background check; Loves working with children in a high energy environment and teaching them about Christ

MOPS MOPPETS Helper(s)

• This position assists the teacher with her class of 8-12 children up to age 5.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly or bi-weekly; Approx. 2.5 hours (9:15-11:45am) ; October through May
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender; Has a love for children; Background check; 1 day training session; 2-3 follow-up meetings during the year

• This position teaches a class of 8-12 children up to age 5.
• Service Hours/Frequency – Weekly or bi-weekly; Approx. 2.5 hours (9:15-11:45am) plus 30 min. prep; October through May
• Service Prerequisites – MPC Member or Regular Attender who is a believer in Jesus Christ; Background check; 1 day training session; 2-3 follow-up meetings during the year
